A softball weekend can move from warmups to a game to another field with very little downtime. Your laundry plan should account for the full kit: jersey, pants, socks, undershirt, and any washable layers worn underneath.

Sort by the item, not just the team color

Sliding shorts, a jersey, and pants may have different fabrics or care requirements. Read the labels and group compatible pieces together. Check high-contact areas before washing, and use only a stain treatment the fabric and product directions permit.

Give small pieces a home
