The swim-bag reset: race suits are not regular laundry

A swim bag contains several different care categories. Your swimsuit may need a very different approach from a team shirt or towel, and a technical race suit may have stricter instructions still. Build your routine around that difference.

Follow the suit maker first

Check the instructions for your exact swimsuit before using detergent, soaking, or putting it in a machine. Speedo recommends rinsing suitable swimwear in fresh cold water after use and avoiding storage rolled inside a wet towel. Technical race suits can require a more specific process.

Separate the rest of the bag
